Our tests have a standard deviation of 50 points, which means that a 100-point range around a particular score indicates your most likely score range. Eg, if you score 700, the SD range is 650 to 750.
The real test has a standard deviation of 30 points, by the way - even if you take the real test, it doesn't mean that score is "your" score - if you get 700 on the real test, the SD range is 670 to 730, meaning that if you took it again, you'd most likely score somewhere in that range. |
