No problem! FYI - if you use your email address as your username, it will show up in the post for all to see, so you might want to choose a different username in future.
The 2-digit subscores apply just to the math and verbal; these combine to give you the three-digit score (through some formula that they haven't released to the public). When you take the real test, you'll also be assigned percentile rankings for each of the three scores. To make things even more confusing, although the 2-digit scores are both reported out of 60, they do not use the same percentile scale (so a 40 in quant is not the same percentile as a 40 in verbal). A 44 in quant is about the 75th percentile and a 35 in verbal is also about the 75th percentile - so even though it seems like your math score was higher, it wasn't. You're starting off about the same in both. There is no answer key for GMATPrep, unfortunately, but we have a couple of threads here (called GMATPrep Math and GMATPrep Verbal) where people can post GMATPrep questions and ask for explanations. A lot have been posted already, so you can search the database to see if an explanation to any given question has already been posted. If it hasn't been posted before, then you can post the question and ask for an explanation. Please make sure to read the "Read Me" posts before posting questions to make sure that you're following protocol. Good luck! |
