Hi,

I gave the 6 CATS and my scores are as follows :-

CAT 1 - 720 (Q - 50, V - 38)
CAT 2 - 730 (Q - 50, V - 40)
CAT 3 - 750 (Q - 51, V - 41)
CAT 4 - 730 (Q - 51, V - 39)
CAT 5 - 780 (Q - 51, V - 45)
CAT 6 - 780 (Q - 51, V - 45)

My query is regarding CAT 5 & 6. Although the scores are good, I do feel that they are not accurate. From CAT 1-4, a fair number of questions were in the difficulty level of 700-800. But in CAT 5 & 6, almost all the questions were in the difficulty level 600-700 (with a a couple of them even in the 300-500 range). This also reflected in my completion time as I was able to complete both the sections in the last 2 tests in around 60 minutes.
Is it the same way in the actual GMAT? From what I have heard, the questions in the actual GMAT hover in the difficulty level depending on how you have answered your previous questions. If I have been getting most of them right, the difficulty level should be in the range of 700-800.
Please clarify.

Thanks in advance :).

Even I could see the same thing..In MGMAT 5 most of the Q were 600-700..I guess may be bcoz all MGMAT test Q are from a same pool..And in MGMAT 1-4 scores were above 700 it could be possible that system is running out of 700 level Q's..

Yes, our CATs are not designed for someone to take all 6 tests scoring at the highest levels. If you are, we figure you should get in there and take the real test instead of continuing to take practice tests! You were scoring at the very top on quant from T1, so you certainly ran out of questions there by the later tests. And it's possible that the same thing may have happened eventually with verbal - you've been in the high 80s or higher since the beginning.

So - when are you going to take the real thing?!?
:)
