I just took my first practice exam a week ago. The scores for the Quant and Verbal were available immediately, but I still don't see a score for the essays. Are the essays going to be graded at one point by the instructors? Or how are we supposed to gauge how we did on them? Thanks.

Hi koala,

Your essays on the CAT exam are not going to be graded by an instructor. We place them in our practice exams so you can achieve the best possible simulation of an actual GMAT exam. While we do offer an essay-grading service, it is currently only available to ManhattanGMAT students.

Dear Mike,

I think since AWA essays are essential part of the GMAT test, I think 6 online tests-pack should cover the essay grading service as well.

I would be disappointed, if because of geographical or other reasons, I couldn't attend a hefty live or virtual course at Manhattan and as a consequence can't get my essays evaluated.

Please do something to help students who are just 4/5 days away from their test. In the long run, you can probably think of pay-and-evaluate service or something like that. Now that doesn't really mean that you could safely assume that everyone would be Okay to pay an additional fee for this service.

Cheers
JTG
