Hello Friends,

Greetings.

I want to go through the SC questions in this forum which got reply from Manhattan instructors.

Is there any easier way to do that.

I tried going through recent questions but it's time consuming if I did not find a proper reply and I am particularly interested in only SC questions.

Please suggest.

Thanks,
Shilpa

There is no way out as the entire verbal is in a single pool and why do you only want to go through questions that have been answered by instructors??? All questions are important as they represent different types of problems (Especially in SC).You must judge each problem on its own merits irrespective of whether it has been answered by an instructor or not.

Yes I agree, but it's time consuming to go through several posts then. In stead, it would be great if I can see only SC posts because that's the area I want to focus on right now.
Another, If let's say, 5 people posts an answer to a question then I have to scan through all the many lines to reach to the correct answer choice and the explanation, is not it?
Or is there some other way to study from the forum posts?
Please suggest.

Thanks,
Shilpa

Hey, Try this:

Click on the Search tab, then type in an instructor's name on Search for author: eg RonPurewal.
Then on 'Search in forums' , choose gmat verbal.

Hit Search. This way you can atleast narrow down your searches to an extent. (You still have to scan for SC questions though)...

Pretty Unconventional....Eh!!! :)

gokul, thanks for the suggestion.

shilpa, you can also browse to older posts. At some point, an instructor responds to every single post, so just look for posts where the last person who answered was an instructor.

I have to mention, though, that I think going through questions randomly like that is a bad way to study. The questions we post here are mostly from MGMAT exams or GMATPrep exams. If you look at the questions in advance, then the exams will lose validity for you. Unless you plan never to take the exams, that's a bad idea.

What I would suggest instead is that, after you have done problems on your own (whether from an exam or from the MGMAT books or online materials), then come here and do a search for the text of specific problems that gave you trouble. If the problems have been posted, you can read the existing discussion and, if that doesn't answer your question, you can then post your own question.

Also, just FYI, the moderators' names show up in dark red font, so if you scroll down and just look at the name of each poster, something in dark red is coming from an MGMAT employee. :)
