From what I can tell the differences between these courses is in the 9 week session I 'attend' class and can ask qustions, where as in the Self study I can review the recorded class, but since there is no live instructor I can't ask questions (although I could with the 1/2 hour private session). In the 9 week session I also get "Access to our high 700+ level math Challenge Problems" and "Access to our Strategy Series database". What is the Strategy Series Database? Are these the only differences between the courses contents? Thank you for your time.

Actually, you get access to both our Challenge Problem Archive and our Strategy Series with the Guided Self-Study. In fact, here are the only two differences between the programs:

The 9-session course comes with a live instructor available for questions about the course or the test in general. The guided self-study does not.
The 9-session course comes with 9 half-hour private sessions with an instructor. The guided self-study comes with 2 half-hour private sessions with an instructor.

The Strategy Series is a collection of essays about various nuances of the GMAT that you may not get to cover in class as well as some preliminary advice about applying to business school. You can access this content regardless of if you sign up for a 9-session class or a guided self-study.
