Hi,
I went through your review on GMATFocus, as well as one from gmathacks.com. These were written a few months back.
Yesterday, I read this: http://gmatninja.com/2009/08/26/gmat-focus-quirks/
So, is it true? Are questions from GMATFocus in the 2nd edition of OG Quantitative Review and OG12? I thought this was the right place to ask since you guys focus a lot on practice from official GMAT questions, so you would have a better idea.

Thanks a lot!

Yep, there is some overlap, unfortunately, in the latest editions of the books. :( There wasn't overlap when GMATFocus was first released because we were still on OG11 and the 1st editions of the quant and verbal supplements.

Thanks for such a quick reply!
Do you know how many questions overlap? i've ehard GMATFocus questions are slightly more difficult, and help one with pacing since they're timed. I wanted to know if it's worth it. It'll be worth it for me only if the number of new questions are, well, sufficient!

Nope, there's no way to know that. GMAT Focus is a database of questions and the program is adaptive, so you're going to get the questions you "earn" based on previous responses. Some people have seen no repeats, some people have seen a few, some have seen more than a few.

I don't think there's a huge number, though - it's not the case that half the questions will be repeats (if they were, we'd all ask for our money back!).
