I honestly do not think it is fair for the office hour lecturers to call once and give up on the student. I have missed 2 office hours because they never leave numbers, and I do not hear my phone ring (even though I am waiting by my phone) all I see are voice messages prompts and that's that! I am sad that I have questions unanswered and despite my efforts...the lecturers are somewhat hard to reach through office hours. I find it is quite frustrating. Help. This is my last week of office hours, and I scheduled twice to no avail.

They don't leave numbers because we use skype to call - we don't have numbers that you could use to call back. So you do need to find a way to make sure you can hear your phone when it's ringing!

I will forward a request to ask them if they can make a standard policy to try calling twice, though, before moving on to the next student on the list.
