Hi,

I read the earlier post on scratch paper and had a follow up questions. Can you tear a sheet out of the notebook? Our instructor told us to set up a "ABCDE" grid horizontally with questions numbers going down vertically. Flipping to other pages to do diagramming etc and flipping back to eliminate answer choices doesn't seem to effective though.

If you can't tear out a sheet, can you share how you'd suggest utilizing the scratch paper?

THANKS!!

Nope - the notebooks are spiral bound with plastic. No tearing pages out.

You can, however, move your keyboard out of the way once the essays are over and lay out two facing passages of the scrap paper horizontally. Then you've got lots of workspace to set up your grid and to work on the problems.

Can you request two books or is it one at a time?

Official policy is one at a time. You can certainly ask; they will probably say no, but doesn't hurt to ask!
