That would be 75th-85th percentile in verbal only, not quant and not overall. The quant and verbal scores are not on the same scale for some reason - in other words, 35-38 in quant is not 75th-85th percentile. It's more like 45th-55th percentile. 80th percentile in quant is about a 46.
All very confusing, I know - just remember that although the verbal and quant scores use the same number range (0-60), those numbers don't actually mean the same thing. The scale is different. So you have to look at the percentile numbers in order to interpret your performance. |
