Jeremy, thanks for answering my other topic of a low gpa. I think it's great that you take your time to answer the questions in these forums and I truly appreciate it. I have one more quick question for you. I am considering if I should enroll into a full-time or part-time program. The purpose for me in going to an MBA program is to have a further degree that will make me more marketable to finance firms out there as I cannot get an analyst or investment banking job now because of my lack of past experience. All concerns aside in regards to having enough income to live, does it make a big difference in regards to job oppurtunities when deciding between a full-time and part-time program? I have heard that recruiters from large firms come to the campuses to hire fresh out of MBA school graduates to their firms and that the full-time students have a large advantage when it comes to the recruitment aspect. Please let me know your thoughts on this when you have the time. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend.

Thank you for your latest inquiry.

With respect to investment banks, it is my understanding that they do almost all of MBA hiring at top-15 full-time MBA programs. Via a part-time MBA program like NYU’s Langone it may be possible, but my guess is that it is unlikely elsewhere.

Sincerely,
