This is a really great point, grumppee. I was a high school math teacher for many years and over that time noticed the steady decline in the presence of discrete math topics in the typical core high school math curriculum. Taking a discrete course may not be a viable option for all, of course, and success on the GMAT is certainly possible without an in-depth study of discrete math, but grumppee's testimony is certainly compelling.

Do you guys know of a good discrete math course in New York City?
NYU? Baruch? Pace? BMCC? Thanks, - Dan |

I don't, unfortunately - does anyone else know of one? You might also just want to do a google search. The other thing to think about: do you want a grade and official transcript that you can show or do you just want to take the class for the knowledge? If you want a grade and transcript, you should make sure that any program you take offers those things.
