What was the percentile for verbal? I can't remember what 36 is off the top of my head. Generally, if it's at (or above) the 80th percentile, you should be okay even for top programs (as far as your GMAT score is concerned, anyway).

You should look into the Average GMAT score of wharton applicants to the specific program you are interested in. If you are avergae you should be OK but make sure every other piece of your application shines as birght as possible.

Good advice, Christian. And, yes, even for the top schools, 80th percentile for a subscore (math or verbal) is generally considered fine.
