The schools only get the scores of your last three attempts anyhow. Between retaking the exam more than 3 times and getting a score of 700+, the latter is the lesser of two evils.

I took the GMAT 4 times and will be at HBS in the fall. Get as close as you can to the 80% range.....680 or so (*assuming the rest of your app is strong*).

Is the following link, which states that school get all the score for tests taken in 5 year obsolete. http://www.manhattangmat.com/strategy-series-new-gmat.cfm 4) SCORE REPORTS WILL NOW CONTAIN ALL EXAMS TAKEN IN THE LAST 5 YEARS (including cancellations). Previously, score reports contained only your last 3 exams/cancellations. In addition, if a test-taker retakes the exam and wants to resend his/her scores to programs that previously received the score, the test-taker must RESELECT those schools at the time of the retest. |
