SC question No. 2 in Official Verbal Guide (the same question has also appeared in OG-10) has really confused me on the use of "Much": Here it is used with countable noun i.e. voters. Can we use "Much" with countable nouns too?

I won't respond directly about the OG question, as these questions are banned from discussion on this forum. (Please refer to sticky.) I will, however, address a couple of ways to use much.

When used as an adjective, much is for UNCOUNTABLE nouns. Things like water, sand, money, fatigue, energy, etc. For these words and other uncountable nouns, you may not use "many" to modify them.

Example: I do not have much money in my savings account. (Here much modifies money.)

When used as an adverb, though, it doesn't modify nouns at all (by definition) but verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs.

Example: Using this tool results in much better results. (Here much modifies better.)
Example: I don't eat much these days. (Here much modifies eat.)
