Hi,

I gave GMAT a couple of days ago and scored 690 (Q 49, V 34). Please let me know my chances of getting to UCLA, NYU-Stern, UT- Austin, Duke.

Below is my brief profile.

- 4.5 Years of Work Ex. in Global IT Consulting Firm. including an year and a half in US.
- Undergrad - B.E. Hons. with 73.54%
- Involved in various ECA's.

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Hi AG,

Thanks for writing in. I would need to know a lot more about your extracurricular work, work experience and post-MBA goals to give a fuller comment on those schools. Strictly from a GMAT perspective -- your unbalanced score may work against you at those schools. I would say that you may be competitive at UT-Austin, but the others would fall into the "reach" category, based on what you've shared with me.
