How to eliminate B...Oa is A

A)Whenever critics give a play a favourable review (When it rains), , people go to see it (my car gets wet); Pinter's new play did not receive favourable reviews (Since it hasn't rained recently), so I doubt that anyone will go to see it ((so) my car can't be wet)

Firstly, "I doubt" is not same as " My car can't be" as "doubt" shows a degree of possibility and "can" shows certainity.
Secondly, are we suppose to use our commonsense and think that review of critics should always precede going of audience to watch the movie...Usually we do not assume such things unless stated in the stimulus...Is this the only reason why B is ruled out (provided this is a reason, if at all)...
