Official Guide pg 154.
This is a very easy problem and the answer seems to be incorrect.
If the absolute value is the distance between a point and 0 on a number line, wouldn't both points A = -2 and E = 2 have the same absolute value?
Just need a sanity check...

No problem! As a reminder to others, we can't post OG problems on the web (here or anywhere).

In general re: absolute value, yes, the number 2 and the number -2 would have the same absolute value. I recall seeing an OG book in which there was a printing error with a number line and a number was placed at the wrong spot, which made it seem like the problem didn't have one right answer. Read the explanation to see how they actually intended that diagram to look... :)

This is a misprint. It is fine in my copy, but it occurs in a number of copies of the book.
