Are a good number of questions Manhattan Quant Banks tedious and tough or is it just my lack of preparation!? Thanks.

The Question Banks are non-adaptive (everyone gets the same 25 questions) and the problems range in difficulty, but they definitely lean toward the tough side. Each set has a few very tricky problems! I generally recommend these as a way to cap your review on a topic.

Let's say you're at the end of the course, and you notice that Number Properties is a weak area. You might begin by going back through the book and/or class recordings, and reviewing your completed problems to see how you might improve your process. Then, if you have OG problems left to do in that area, you might try some new problems to make sure all was going well. Then, to "sign off" on that topic, you could try the Number Properties Question Bank. Treat it like a test--25 problems in 50 minutes. If you don't have time to tackle a particular problem, try back-up strategies or give it your best guess.

At the end, go back through your results and determine whether you successfully ID'd each problem type and picked the right approach. If you got it right, was your technique solid and time-efficient? Was there a better way to solve? If you got it wrong, what should you have done differently? (Sometimes the best answer to this question is "Skip and move on.")

You can also fold the results from the Question Banks into our comprehensive assessment tool, to get a better sense of the specific sub-topics you need to work on.
