Can anyone pls explain as to why C is wrong? is it beacuse of plural- apparati- that violates parallelism

yes you are right, C is wrong because apparati is plural while in the first sentence apparatus is singular. Two statements being compared with like should be parallel.
I havent seen many SC's with similar construction.
Why do that refers to the P G A of H C?
That could be easily anything. Is it because of the parallelism that refers to the P G A of H C.
