Assuming you have the academic creditionals, are there any top schools in the northeast that are considered "Older Applicant & IT friendly"?

I think MIT would fit your bill. It is important to keep in mind that the schools are not hostile to older candidates, they are just more accepting of younger candidates these days. If you are an older candidate and have something special to offer, the school won’t just dismiss your candidacy because of age.
