Sets Question:

Is |x| < 1? |x+1| = 2 |X-1|

(1) ½x + 1½ = 2½x - 1½
(2) ½x - 3½  0

It should be:

Is |x| < 1?
(1) |x + 1| = 2 |x - 1|
(2) |x-3| not equal to 0

i understand that this question is quite difficult to find with the search box, because of the nearly complete dearth of suitable search terms. therefore, i won't have to chastise you for not searching first. :/
