Q: Each of the numbers w,x,y and z has a value of either 0 or 1. Then what is the value of w+x+y+z?
1. w/2 + x/4 + y/8 + z/16 = 11/16
2. w/3 + x/9 + y/27 + z/81 = 31/81
a) 1 alone sufficient b) 2 alone sufficient c) Both together sufficient d) Each alone sufficient e) Neither of the two sufficient
Need help in solving this out.. tried but couldn't reach to the end.
Answer is D
