if n is an integer then n is divisible by how many positive integers?
(1) n is the product of 2 different prime numbers
(2) n and 2^(-3) are each divisible by the same number of positive integers
OA: A
My initial answer is D, and i assumed that the question should read as 2^(3), as the negative doesnt make sense. i reckon that n is divisible by 4 positive integers, since 2^3 = 8 = 1, 2, 4, 8.
please kindly advise.
Statement 2, if it is indeed 2^3, is sufficient. 2^3 is 8, which has four factors. You are right that 2^-3 (1/8) makes no sense. I'm not familiar with this source but I think there's something wrong here.
