Today I took GMAT exam.I scored 570 which is very poor.I got comparitively good score in quant (got 46) but i totally messed up with verbal which is my weak area(i got 23 in verbal:( with 29 percentile).Could you please suggest how can i work on verbal.
I am working IT professional from India and do not have good GMAT coaching centers here .I have to do self study and improve score.

Please help me out,I badly need to score 690 plus in GMAT which I am planning to take in december again..

For verbal, try the manhattan gmat books, they're quite good, especially sentence correction and critical reasoning.

Hi myfinalchance,

As this board focuses on the applications themselves, I suggest you take a look at the Manhattan GMAT Verbal Forum at:

gmat-verbal-f40.html

Best of luck,
