There is error in A :- which point to near noun that is illogical . I think best thing is to add summative word such as deal and since the company will take over in future hence the deal will make is correct

yep - choice a uses 'which', which must refer to the nearest thing before the comma. this doesn't make sense: it says that the $950 million is part of the deal, whereas what's meant is that the transaction is part of the deal.
incidentally, this is another example of a problem on which a seemingly ambiguous pronoun is not corrected: the second 'it' could technically refer either to the purchasing company or to the rival company (although the latter would make no sense). interesting. |
