Hi Ron,

Another issue is that two statements seems contradictory given the answer is D

If zy < xy < 0,

st1 says that z < x ,which means y>0 , yielding .....yes(sufficient)

st2 says that y<0 , yielding ........ yes (sufficient)

Although both statements are giving Yes(sufficient),still both statements are looking contradictory.Does it mean that statements can be contradictory but if results are same ,there is no problem?Please clarify

True.

Does it mean that statements can be contradictory but if results are same ,there is no problem?
No. It means that this is a horrible question from which you should be loath to draw any inferences.
