Great to come across somebody in the same situation as myself. Gave my GMAT yest and got 660 (Q 46; V 35). I have about 4 years of experience (3 after my Masters in CS from SUNY-Binghamton)
I see that the mean and the median for UCLA FEMBA are 686 and 690 resp for 2009 class. I personally feel that I should take one more shot at the GMAT to be on the safer side. However, do remember that your complete package is considered and GMAT plays one role (decently important one) in the process. Also, you have an advanced degree which always sets us apart from the crowd. I think I'm going to attend some info sessions and try to get something out of current students/admissions people. I suggest you do the same. |

Thank you for your inquiry.
We have helped a few candidates with the FEMBA program and we have not found it to be too competitive. If your GMAT is near their average, you might want to consider the quality of your work experience. What have you done for the last two years? What are your other attributes (community experience, personal successes, etc.)? Sincerely, Jeremy Shinewald MBA Mission www.mbamission.com 646-485-8844 Skype: MBAMission

My GMAT is 710. Two master degrees namely MS Architecture and MS Computer Sceince. 3 years of Entreprenure expereince in China, 5 years of US working experience. I am applying for 2008 Anderson FEMBA. My concern is my age, 37. Another concern is I changed my career once and most likely I will change it again after MBA program. My concerntration will be Finance and Entreprenureship. |

Hi,
How much of a role does GPA play in the admission process? My undergrad GPA is good but my grad GPA is 3.0, will that be a factor? What should be my apx GMAT score to offset it? Thanks, Raj, |
