Hi guys ,
I got a 740(q50, v40) in my latest attempt in the gmat ,

My previous attempts were 660, 680 , 650 ,
the first 2 attempts were in 2006 and the 3rd (650)and 4th (740)attempt were in 2008

Will it be taken negatively by the admission committee. I have 3 years of wrk ex and want to apply to oxford ......with another 2 years of wrk ex overall 5 years of wrk ex as SAP consultant...please guide

I don't think the admissions committe will look down on it. I'm not familiar with Oxford's admissions people, but most committee people tell us that their process re GMAT scores is something like this:

- accept people based on their own, self-reported GMAT score
- have an intern/fellow check the score to make sure it is accurate

You might want to check with the committee's particular rules (on their website; don't bother them with a specific email/call about this) as to high scores, etc., but use the above as a general guide.
