Good question! This does change over time, so it's worth asking the question even if you find something written somewhere, because that could be out of date.
Quant: NP and Alg = very common WT and FDP = next most common Geo = least common
Most common areas within books: Within NP: exponents, roots, divisibility, prime Within Alg: basic, quadratic, and exponential equations; inequalities also decently common Within FDP: fractions and percents WT: general algebraic translations, statistics, ratios / proportions Geo: triangles, circles
Verbal: Usually a few more SC questions than the other types.
SC: most common: modifiers, meaning, parallelism, verbs, idioms. Next most common: sub-verb, pronouns, comparisons
CR: Find the Assumption, Strengthen, Weaken; also, Draw concl / Infer = decently common
RC: specific detail and inference questions; main idea questions
