Hi,

I have taken 4 of the MGMAT CATs and the scores in each are as follows:
MGMAT CAT#1: 680 (Q-48, V-35) [Completed both section in time]
MGMAT CAT#2: 680 (Q-48, V-35) [ended up guessing last 1-2 questions in quant]
MGMAT CAT#3: 670 (Q-47, V-34) [ended up guessing last 2-3 questions in quant]
MGMAT CAT#4: 680 (Q-48, V-35) [ended up guessing last 5 questions in quant and 4 questions in verbal+1unanswered].

The tests were timed and I tried my level best to simulate the actual test conditions. However, I did not attempt the AWA section.

I took GMAT prep before taking the above CATs and scored 730 (Q-50, V-40).

With each MGMAT test my time management in quant is going down but the score is invariably the same. Is it because the difficulyt level of questions in increasing with each test?

I am unable to gauge my performance. Can anyone of you please help me know how am I doing on these tests?

It is pretty much impossible to take the scores you have given and do anything more to assess how you are doing than to simply repeat your scores back to you. You need to give a lot more information about how you are studying, how you are approaching questions, and how you are doing on the various topic areas relative to each other..

i can comment a little on your timing though. Basically, it looks like you are improving your math skills if you are able to maintain the same score even while guessing on more and more questions. So at this point you need to figure out a way to get quicker on the math questions. i recommend working on recognizing topics and appropriate strategies more quickly. A lot of this will revolve around making sure you have a solid idea in your mind of how you can take certain key words and characteristics of problems and use that to help you narrow in on a strategy in a few seconds. This will take some work on your part and will likely require you to study the topics in our strategy guides more deeply than you have, but the rewards are well worth it if it helps you get faster on the math problems..
