If ab not equal to 0, points (-a,b) and (-b,a) are in the same quadrant of the xy-plane, is (-x,y) in this same quadrant?
(1) xy > 0 (2) ax > 0
I am not really sure how to approach this problem. Its evident that the slope of the line that passes through (-a,b) and (-b,a) is 1 but is knowing that even useful?
Thanks!
