This is a correct sentecne.
The group made up 10 percent of the workforce, compared with 20 percent in 2000.


Question:

why not "20 percent of THAT in 2000"

i thought you have to compare the same object ?

When you say "this is a correct sentence" - what do you mean? Where is it from?
