 Post subject: Book- ManhattanGMAT prep- 4th edition Pronouns

In the problem set question 1.

Their and They both refer to the antecedent Guest,
Can 2 pronouns refer to the same antecedent.

Based on the explanation on page 68, can I assume that for 1 antecedent there can be more than 1 pronoun, But there can't be 1 pronoun which refers to more than 1 antecedent.

You can never have "they" or "their" refer to "guest", but they can both refer to "guests" in the same sentence. So yes, a noun can be represented by two different pronouns, particularly if it is a subject or object that has both a subject/object and a possessive pronoun..
