Hi All ,
I've two queries
1.George's personal diary and album formed the basis for his book about the places he had visited.
In the above statement how can we determine whether "basis for" is a correct usage or "basis of " is a correct usage, I saw few sentences where "basis for" is used and a few where "basis of" is used. Shall we use first one or the latter one ?
Please clarify.
