Hi, Yamini -
Applications can take anywhere from 10 to 40 hours to complete - it depends upon the school and the application. Most schools have you write the essays right along with the rest of the application, but each school can have its own policies, so you should get the application from NYU and check it out for yourself. Most schools just require you to have taken the test by the deadline date, but some schools want you to have submitted the scores by then, so you will again have to check the application of the specific school to see what it requires. Most schools also require you to ask others to write letters of recommendation for you. It can take weeks to complete these, so you should find out whether NYU requires this (and, if so, get started) right away. Good luck! :) |
