Mixed numbers to improper fractions
Given the mixed number 3 (1/2), multiply the integer, 3, by the denominator, 2, to get 6. Add the numerator, 1, to get 7. 7 is the numerator of the improper fraction.The denominator is simply the original denominator, 2. The improper fraction is (7/2).
Improper fractions to mixed numbers
Given the improper fraction (7/2), divide 7 by 2 to find the integer. 2 goes into 7 three times, with a remainder of 1. The integer of the mixed number is 3, therefore, and the numerator is 1. The denominator again stays the same. The mixed number is 3(1/2).
Percent to a decimal
Divide by 100. Move the decimal point two places to the left.
Example:

70% = 0.70.

Decimal to a percent
Multiply by 100. Move the decimal point two places to the right.
Example:

0.33 = 33%.

Percent to a fraction
Write the percentage number over 100 and simplify.
Example:

70% = (70/100) = (7/10).

Fraction to a percent
Divide the numerator by the denominator and move the decimal two places to the right.
Example:

(1/4) = 0.25. 0.25 -> 25%.

Fraction to a decimal
Divide the numerator by the denominator.
Example:

(1/4) = 0.25.

Decimal to a fraction
Use the place value of the last digit in the decimal as a denominator. Then put the decimal’s digits (without the decimal point itself) in the numerator and simplify.
Example:

Given 0.25, the place value of the last digit in the decimal is the hundredths place, so use 100 as the denominator. Use the digits of the decimal as the numerator: 25. The fraction is (25/100).
