Dan Lerman
Dan Lerman is a native New Yorker and longtime standardized test-taker. He holds a BS from Duke University and an MS from Georgetown University, where he studied Neuroscience and Behavior.
In addition to being a GMAT instructor, Dan is an actor and a comedian. He has studied Theater at University College London and the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, winning the St. Genesius Award for his 2010 performance in Tom Stoppard's "The Real Thing." He also dabbles with stand-up comedy. The peak of his Stand-Up career (and maybe his life) came after a recent show when SNL writer John Mulaney complimented his iPhone joke ("that's good stuff").
Dan's most recent project involved writing, producing, and starring in "David and Rachel's Wedding," an interactive theater piece that can best be described as "Tony and Tina's Wedding," but Jewish. In the rest of his spare time, Lerman is a semi-pro Intramural basketball player, enjoys sporadic escapes to Ledyard, CT, and has a notable soft-spot for Jamba Juice.
Dan's favorite GMAT topics include Parallelism, Geometry, and Data Sufficiency. He completed the full Manhattan GMAT course both online and in-person, after which he was able to achieve a 760 on the REAL GMAT, and he plans to apply to Business School in the near future.
